Why Am I Addicted To Junk Food?

Since I was 11 years old I have been addicted to junk, I loved chips, sweets, burgers and fried chicken. When I grew older, I start gaining weight. I constantly think about junk, how can I curb my cravings?

First of all, don’t feel bad about it. Everyone is addicted to junk food. Second of all, just start eating healthy foods. Your cravings will curve themselves. Believe me.

  1. cuz mommy doesnt cook anymore and your to lazy to figure out how to cook and its easy. take it from me i cant cook for crap and havent not eaten anything but burger king for two years

  2. Foods that are high in fat or sugar create a pleasant chemical reaction in the brain, making us (as people) crave these foods over and over again.

You don’t have to give it up entirely, there’s nothing wrong with an occasional treat. Cutting back, however, would likely help you lose weight. There’s really no easy way to do it, you just have to force yourself. Try new foods and find some healthy ones that you like. Healthy eating is easy once you get the hang of it, getting started is the hardest part.

  3. sounds like a sugar craving more than anything. I would try looking into food which contain slow release sugars or the low GI diets for ideas. Perhaps even ask your doctor or nutritionist, he/she should be able to explain more.
